i registered some days ago and I got an API Key for testing purposes.
Now I am trying to test the API with postman but I can’t make it work:
Return HTTP Status 401 (request requires HTTP authentication)
I would appreciate to get some support.
When you add the authorization in Postman, make sure you copy the API key correctly into Postman. On the Auth tab, select Basic Auth under Type, and add your API key in the Username.
After setting up everything in the Headers tab, the authorization should automatically be added once you click Send.
Notice how the word “Basic” was added before your base 64 encoded API key. If your API key is valid, you should then get a proper response. You can download a Postman example here. Just replace the Username in the Auth tab with your API key and you should be set.
